Daiwa’s range of TD BLACK reels and rods adorn the collections of avid anglers throughout Australia. Designed and developed specifically for the Australian market. Now in 2024, the TD BLACK MQ range of small spinning reels receives yet another technological advancement, with the inclusion of AIRDRIVE DESIGN.

24 TD BLACK MQ now sports both of Daiwa’s crowning achievements in spinning reel design. A one-piece Monocoque (MQ) Body design focusing on the body of the reel to deliver strength and power, and Daiwa’s new AIRDRIVE DESIGN which redesigns the rotor, bail arm and other components to focus on operability & response. The new 24 TD BLACK is the most technologically advanced TD BLACK to date.

MQ allows for the use of larger gears for enhanced power, precision and longevity, with its single piece construction increasing body strength and rigidity and eliminating unwanted water and grime ingress into the reel. MQ body also allows a larger diameter drive gear to be installed in the same size body, further increasing gear durability & power.

AIRDRIVE DESIGN is the pursuit of ultimate response, a new lightweight rotor design & bail arm reduces the rotational mass which is required to spin around the spool with each rotation of the handle. This delivers lower start-up inertia & effortless reeling.

24 TD Black’s list of designs and features doesn’t end there, with Tough Digigear for optimum reel power and refinement, Magsealed body providing unmatched protection from the elements, and ATD Type-L and ATD Carbon Drags deliver ultra-smooth stopping power and control. Handling Time
Orders are not shipped on weekends or public holidays.

All orders placed before 9 am AEST (Monday - Friday), are usually dispatched on the same business day.
Orders placed after this time will be delivered the following business day. You will be notified by email once your order has been shipped.

We use several couriers to dispatch your orders, such as Australia Post, Toll, DHL, Sendle, Aramex, and Couriers Please as our primary carriers.

We always try to use the courier that offers your area's quickest and most reliable service.

Delivery, Tracking and Insurance
All orders are sent with a tracking number and free insurance. 

If you need to track your order, please use our 'Track Your Order' page.

If you are not home when your parcel is delivered, The delivery driver will leave a notice with instructions on how and where you can collect your parcel, or you can call the courier to arrange redelivery (redelivery fees may apply). If you request 'Authority to Leave' services, we are not liable for any loss or damage to the parcel. 

All parcels are covered by free insurance for loss or damage whilst in transit. If the parcel is damaged, do not accept the delivery. If you cannot provide proof to the courier company or us, an insurance claim may not be approved after you sign for it. Please report any damaged parcels and retail packaging to us immediately upon receipt.

Shipping Delays
For some reasons, there may be a delay in delivery times:
1. Payment wait to clear (Bank deposit usually takes about 1-2 business days to clear)
2. Orders are not shipped on Weekends or Public Holidays
3. Incorrect or incomplete address and contact number
4. Location and seasonality
5. Peak period before public holidays or after major online sales
6. Stock is faulty or damaged and needs to be reordered from suppliers.
